Panel: Guardrails for Our Democracy

On the evening of Friday, May 9 at Watts Hall in downtown Thomaston, the Knox County Democratic Committee is convening a panel to discuss the threats posed to the people of Maine by budget cuts, program cuts, and executive orders of the Trump administration. Panelists will also focus on how to protect Mainers and our democracy. Members of the panel are:

SHENNA BELLOWS, Maine Secretary of State
AARON FREY, Maine Attorney General
GARRETT MARTIN, President & CEO of Maine Center for Economic Policy
ANNA KELLAR, Executive Director of Democracy Maine

Attendees will have the chance not just to listen, but to ask questions and present ideas. Doors will open at 6:30 pm.
