No Kings Midcoast Maine is a demonstration rally organized and facilitated by the Knox County Democratic

Committee(KCDC). KCDC joins with the nation-wide No Kings events to be held in communities across America on June

14, 2025 as a counterpoint to the planned military parade scheduled that day to honor President Donald Trump’s

birthday. The rally will lead with a group of speakers including Maine Democratic Committee Chair Charlie Dingman,

elected Maine legislators from across Knox County and others. Candidates for Maine Governor have been invited. There

will be music by Jim Gibson and Louisa Stancioff and everyone is encouraged to carry creative signs with messages

reflecting your concerns and your hopes for the preservation of democracy and the rule of law. At noon people will be

invited to join the weekly Audacity CAT event at Chapman Park nearby.
